Sculpture II A - Three semester hours (6 lecture/studio). Students will create advanced projects while learning large-scale, site-specific, installation techniques. Prior to this course, students will have learned to use a variety of materials and methods, which will allow them to more accurately problem-solve when planning, creating and installing room-sized works. Students will research and discuss a variety of contemporary artists who effectively communicate ideas using large-scale and site-specific installations. Museum and gallery trips will be incorporated into this class. Prerequisite: Art 140.%
