Gender in Cross-Cultural Perspective. Three semester hours. (Capstone) This course examines issues and theories of gender cross-culturally. Ethnographic and interdisciplinary materials will be used to explore the diversity of gender roles and gender belief systems in the contemporary world. Emphasis will be on encouraging students to critically examine the social, cultural, and historical underpinnings of gender inequality.%
