TED 350, an introductory course dealing with issues of exceptionality in children ages 3-9 years, is for Early Childhood Comprehensive Majors. Emphasis is on legislative provisions for young children with disabilities; referral procedures in terms of when, how, and where; characteristics of exceptionalities; development of relationships with parents of young children; and accommodation techniques for use in the classroom and at home. Prerequisite: Associate Degree in Early Childhood or Permission of instructor. (F)
