Students will learn how to utilize the basic creative dramatics processes of: improvisation, dramatic storytelling, story theatre and reader's theatre, particularly as applied to youth. Students will have the opportunity to experience the processes as a participant, and as an instructor of young people. Students will learn of the history, concepts, current practices and importance of theatre for youth and families, an will have the opportunity to study current best practices through live performances and script analysis. (F, alternate years)
