Studies four general and different border areas through literature. Through literary-cultural texts, looks into peoples¿ experiences of migration to and from the homelands of Mexico, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and the Puerto Rican isle to the U.S. These experiences are never uni-directional but are characterized by constant back-and-forth movement.
