This is an introductory course to statistics for students whose background includes differential and integral calculus. Topics include the fundamentals of probability theory. In descriptive statistics it covers discrete and continuous distributions, multivariate distributions, sampling distributions and the central limit theorem. In inferential statistics topics include estimation and hypothesis testing. Lec 3, Cr 3.
