This course deals with the selection and computer-aided graphical representation of mechanicals subsystems for the transmission of mechanical power and/or generation of mechanical motion. Component selection of gears, cams, belt and chain drives, clutches and transmissions will use data sources of contemporary manufacturers ranging from vendor catalogs to computerized databases.
