This course focuses on different genres of literature in multicultural society. It highlights purposes for reading, including reading for pleasure and lifelong learning. Additionally, it emphasizes modeling reading and adapting materials for all learners. Ways to enhance comprehension before, during and after reading are emphasized. Field-based experience is required. Lec 3, Cr 3.
