Prerequisites: MATH 3034 or equivalent, admission to Teacher Education Program, successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in TCED 4034 and completion of ENGL 2311, ENGL 2314 or WRIT 3037 with a grade of C+ or better. Strategies for teaching secondary mathematics; emphasis on instructional techniques appropriate for secondary mathematics, development of problem solving skills, and issues and trends in secondary mathematics education. Field experiences required.
