A study of the inter-relationships of literature, music, art, and philosophy in an historical context with emphasis on Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome, Judaism, and early Christianity. Individual research and evidence of the ability to synthesize the expressions of the different art forms within a cultural period will be required.
