Description:
Develop and implement algorithms used in solving a variety of problems from science and engineering, including numerical solutions of linear systems of equations and nonlinear equations, curve fitting, approximation, numerical differentiation and integration, and numerical solutions of ordinary differential equations. Computer techniques are used in obtaining and analyzing numerical solutions. Cross-listed as CS 3308. Credit may not be earned for both.
