Process analysis based on the laws of physics and thermodynamics, material and energy balance. Modeling and simulation of typical industrial processes: gas processing, oil refinery and other petrochemical and chemical engineering processes. Steady state modeling and optimization for process design and dynamic modeling for process controllability. Use of computer software tool HYSYS. Laboratory fee required: $12. 3 additional laboratory or activity hours per week.
