Topics include types and models of commerce conducted over the Internet, software and hardware needs, payment methods, and security issues. Streamlining value chain activities, legal and ethical issues, business plans for electronic commerce ventures, issues related to electronic government, and emerging electronic commerce solutions are discussed. A basic electronic web presence is developed.
