Designed to give an understanding of the African influence in all aspects of the Hispanic culture, with special attention to the areas of language and literature. Columbia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela, are particularly emphasized. Course is conducted in Spanish. Offered every third semester.
