Literature of the Anglophone Caribbean, from oral song and James' Minty Alley to Naipaul, Walcott, and writers of the Carribbean diaspora. The complexities of the relationship between colonizer and colonized, the transformation of that relationship by "the unmasking of imperial fictions," and evolution of new forms of discourse will govern the selec- tion of texts.
