This course provides a bridge between the English Composition II course that fulfills the Basic Education Program and the more demanding courses in Grammar and Composition at the 3000 level. The course will build students' writing skills by focusing on the grammatical rules and conventions demanded in formal written English. The study of grammar will be reinforced by exercises and writing assignments designed to give students the accuracy and confidence they need to write clearly and analytically. Offered periodically.
