Lecture/laboratory course presenting the fundamental principles of genetics, the molecular biology of the gene, and heredity in humans. Through lecture, readings, laboratories, and discussions, students examine the the experimental evidence leading to currently accepted concepts, and critically analyze the implications of various findings in human genetics.
