Examines profound ubiquitos influences of the external environment on the body, the physiological responses to environmental challenges, and ways in which these responses contribute to either health or disease. Includes nutritional influences on health; physiological repsonse to environmental chemicals; adaptions to altitude, pressure, temperature, humidity, radiation; physiology of psychosocial stress; and physiology of excercise.
