This course examines the memory of the Spanish Civil War in the narrative and film from the 1940's to the present. Selected works include novels and short stories by Rodoreda, Latoret, Cercas, Marias, and Rivas; and films by Erice, Coach, Suara, and Cyerda. Prerequisite: two courses at the 200-level beyond SPAN 208.
