Elastic deformation of solids. Density and pressure of fluids. Bernoulli's principle. Buoyant forces. Surface tension. Prerequisites: MATH 11 or permission of the instructor. The PHYS 31/32/33 sequence and the PHYS 11/12/13 sequence cannot both be taken for credit.
