Description:
In this course students will individually or collaboratively produce the kind of writing they can expect to encounter in the workplace: from resumes and e-mail, to quantitative and qualitative analyses, collaterals and executive summaries, formal reports and evaluations, etc. Students will learn on the job applying the rhetorical principles they learn as they develop and implement a community service project designed to further SCU's mission. Prerequisites: ENGL 1 and 2. Open to juniors and seniors or by permission of the instructor. Fullfills the Writing req. for the English major.
