This course is designed to meet specific needs of students who wish to pursue in-depth training in the MH/AS/DD field. Typical subject areas include theory and skills in helping individuals who are addicted, severely mentally disabled, dually-multi diagnosed, or persons with developmental disabilities. Instructional methods may include clinical experience, seminar format, field placement, lecture, research, video recording, online discussion boards and role play. Students enroll in this course with permission of faculty or clinical coordinator. This course must be completed with a ā€œCā€ or higher.
