Description:
Designed for a beginning bowler or one with limited knowledge and skills. The course stresses the mechanical principles involved in the approach and the techniques of spot bowling for strikes and spares. Topics covered include equipment, related terminology, etiquette and safety factors, scoring, four-step approach,delivery, aiming, and making spares and splits. Students taking this course should have an average of below 130. There is a $37 lab fee for this course. (Usually offered Fall and Spring semesters.)
