Description:
In this course the student will learn to enter data into the computer and perform computerized account management duties. Students will use a medical practice management software program to schedule patient appointments, create superbills, post patient charges and payments, produce patient ledgers, complete insurance claim forms, prepare daily deposit slips, age accounts receivable, and compile a variety of reports. Students will be introduced to word processing application software. (Usually offered Spring semester only.) Prerequisites: OFT 121 and MED 134, or permission of the Instructor.
