Description:
This course is designed as an advanced course in word processing or an initial course in desktop publishing. It will offer advanced word processing functions and publishing design techniques used for desktop publishing. Functions such as typogrpahy applications, special symbols, column manipulation, line alignment guidelines, ruled line applications, page design with graphics, macro formatting, and business forms with styles may be iintroduced. Also introduced will be design techniques for common desktop documents such as newsletters, brochures, and flyers. (Usually offered Fall and Spring semesters.) Prerequisite: OFT 112 or permission of the Instructor. Prior keyboarding experience required.
