The student's success in college is increased by assisting the student in obtaining the knowledge and skills necessary to reach his/her educational objectives. The following topics will be addressed as they relate to student success within the Nursing curriculum: Orientation to College and the Nursing Curriculum; Time Management; Study Skills; Library/Research Skills for the Nursing Major; Communication/Verbal and Non-Verbal in the Nursing Major; Careers in Nursing; and Stress Management. (Usually offered Fall semester.) Restricted to Nursing students.
