It introduces the basic elements of music and narrative film to help beginners appreciate the combined artistic effects of the two forms. It focuses on film¿s most significant works. It looks at film¿s history in relation to trends in other artistic mediums, such as the development of rock and roll, and in the context of world and national events such as the Cold War, space exploration, and Vietnam.
