This course provides an introduction to integrated circuits and power amplifiers. The three basic power amplifiers (Class A, Class B, and Class C) will be analyzed in terms of efficiency, power calculations, and typical characteristics. Various integrated circuits including the 741 Op-Amp, the 555 timer, The PLL 567 and 565 will also be introduced. (Usually offered Fall semester.) Prerequisite: ELT 115
