Basic level jazz dance technique will be taught. This will consist of warm-up to increase flexibility, strength and coordination, isolation and combinations of patterns to create simple jazz routines. Basic concepts of musical structure, historical background and rhythmic exploration will be addressed. (Usually offered Fall and Spring semesters.) Meets SUNY General Education requirement for The Arts (AR)
