A non-majors course in organic chemistry which is primarily oriented to the needs of students in health and safety related curricula. The emphasis is on the uses, occurrence and function of organic compounds with the number of organic reactions and synthetic methods kept to a minimum. (Usually offered Spring semester.) Prerequisite: CHE 100 or CHE 110 or CHE 120 and permission of the Instructor. Meets SUNY General Education requirement for Natural Sciences (N)
