A Microsoft Certified Professional certificate is the first step along the path of attaining credentials with Microsoft, the global leader in Network Operating Systems. Students learn how to set up, configure, administer, and troubleshoot a Windows 2000 Infrastructure, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP configuration, Network Topology with TCP/IP and a host of other features for the Windows 2000 track. This course will prepare students to pass the Microsoft examinations for both Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Professional. This course will feature both lecture-based instruction and hands-on experience to prepare students to take the Microsoft Exam entitled Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Server (Exam #70-215). Prerequisites: One year LAN Administration with Windows NT4 or instructor approval.
