In addition to attending the Basic Dot Mandatory Training, supervisors and managers must also be aware of all the training requirements under DOT 172.101 Hazardous Materials Table and reference all related information to select the proper labels, markings, and placards, with the proper performance oriented-oriented packaging. Students will also be taught to use the DOT Emergency Response Guidebook. General safety requirements will be reviewed specific to new OSHA requirements. New DOT Internet resources will be explained, with current changes in regulatory enforcement policy and waste reduction covered. This one-day course includes the cost of the Hazardous Materials, Substances & Waste Compliance Guidebook, along with the North American Emergency Response Guidebook. This combined 1500 page reference covers DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations and reference material.
