Description:
The Asbestos Inspector plays a vital role in identifying, sampling, and assessing the hazard potential in buildings. Local Education Agencies (LEAs) must identify ACBM and take appropriate actions to control the release of asbestos fibers in the environment. The inspector must be trained to gather data, document the findiings, and submit materials to the Management Planner. This course includes 16 hours of classroom instruction and 5 hours of hands-on training including a walk-through inspection.
