OSHA requires a minimum of eight (8) hours of refresher instruction for employees that are members of Emergency Response Teams for their companies. This class provides the training to offensively handle an incident involving hazardous materials. Emphasis is placed on using the proper personal protective equipment as well as techniques for containing, clean up and disposal of the hazardous materials. Also included with this class is a hands-on drill. This class meets the OSHA regulatory requirements under 29 CFR 1910.120 (q) (6) (iii).
