This course is based on the new AEMT-Critical Care curicculum. To retain NYS DOH EMS certification, AEMT- Critical Care personnel must complete a refresher course every three years. Students with AEMT-CC cards issued by the NYS DOH EMS are eligible for the challenge evaluation. A copy of the card must be presented at the challenge evaluation.
