This course is based on the new AEMT-Intermediate Curriculum To retain NYS DOH EMS certification, all AEMT-Intermediate personnel must complete a refresher course once every three years. Students with AEMT-I cards issued by NYS DOH are eligible for the challenge evaluation. A copy of the card must be presented the first night of class. The balance of the sessions will be scheduled with the course coordinator.
