In addition to the EMT Refresher, students will be presented with an overview of cardiology for the EMT-D, demonstration and practice with the automatic defibrillator. Students must have DOH EMT certification, expired or not, and a copy of the certification on the first night of class. Candidates who wish to challenge are required to attend the challenge evaluation. The balance of the sessions will be scheduled with the course coordinator.
