The program has been developed by the Alzheimer's Association and is intended for professionals and/or family caregivers of individuals suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The course will cover the following topics: Understanding Alzheimer's disease and other dementias; Living with Alzheimer's disease; Improving communication with the Alzheimer individual; A map through the maze of Alzheimer behaviors; Assisting in activities of daily living; Caring for the caregiver.
