Description:

The program includes medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and completion of medical reports and summaries using a transcription machine and computer. Graduates are well prepared to find employment in a doctor's office, hospital, clinic, or at home as a self-employed medical transcriptionist. Prerequisites are keyboarding at 40 words per minute and knowledge of word processing.
