The recent push for private sector investment and development along the Erie Canal Corridor has opened doors of opportunity for individuals interested in the bed and breakfast industry. In addition, bed and breakfast travel continues to be one of the fastest growing segments of tourism. Whether you are considering your own home for a bed and breakfast or having aspirations for a commercial country inn, this course is for you. Intensive instruction will include bed and breakfast owner profile, marketing, planning, and advertising, financial strategies and creating your business plan. The course will also include a visit to a local bed and breakfast. Class size is limited. Early registration is recommended. This course is co-sponsored by the NCCC Small Business Development Center and the Community Education Department.
