The American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB) has created a professional certification program that establishes a standard for bookkeeping knowledge and ability. This professional designation will allow recipients the possible benefits of career advancement, incresed earning potential and to distunguish you among colleagues. Eligibility requirements for certification include: two years full-time or part-time/free lance equivalent of 3,000 hours experience (candidates may take the test and fulfill this requirement at a later date), pass the national bookkeeper certification exam and sign the Certified Bookkeeper's Code of Ethics. This course is designed as an examination preparation class for the certification exam that consists of three tests covering five required topics.
