Organization, Inspiration and Motivation in Literacy Instruction and Assessment: Learn how to use "The Daily Five" and "Cafe" model developed by Gail Boushey and Joan Moser to organize your classroom language arts instruction so that students are motivated and engaged in meaningful literacy activities, while the teacher instructs and assesses. Class discussion will include how to establish classroom routines and expectations that allow the teacher to meet with small groups or confer with individuals.
