Creating Writers Throught the Six + 1 Traits of Writing: Would you like to improve the quality of your students' writing and the quality of your writing instruction? This workshop will show teachers how to systematically teach the skills and techniques that will help improve students' writing ability, as well as their attitude toward writing. Specific lesson plans and ideas on using the 6+1 model in the classroom in preparation for state assessments and in content area writing will be demonstrated.
