This intensive, nationally acclaimed, 84-hour program is designed for beginning as well as experienced legal workers. Students will be trained to assist trial attorneys, interview witnesses, investigate complex fact patterns, research the law and assist in the preparation of cases for courtroom litigation. You will be able to increase your office's efficiency, productivity and billable hours, while learning new, marketable job skills. The instruction is practice-oriented and is related to those areas of law in which legal assistans are most in demand. There is no prerequisite, but students are expected to complete a significant amount of homework for each weekly session. Successful graduates will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and will receive 8.4 Continuing Education Units.
