Description:
This course represents the second semester of a two-semester study of topics in General Biology. Basic knowledge acquired in the first semester is applied to the study of the diverse structural and physiological adaptations of living organisms. Systems of support, movement, control, reproduction, internal transport, gas exchange, waste excretion, and nutrition will be discussed. Topics of genetics and evolution are presented as a final unit. Prerequisite: BIO 109 Meets SUNY General Education requirement for Natural Sciences (N)
