Emphasis will be placed on animal health care including diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases, primarily zoonotic. Students will become aware of their role in animal health care and as support to the zoo veterinarian. The laboratory component will consist of site experience in zookeeping under the supervision of NCCC personnel and zoo employees. (Only offered Spring semester.) Restricted to Animal Management students. Prerequisite: AMG 101 Prerequisite/Corequisite: AMG 202
