Lec. 3. Credit 3. Prerequisite: ENGL 1010 and ENGL 1020 and one course from among ENGL 2130 , ENGL 2230 , and ENGL 2330 are prerequisites for all upper division courses. The requirement for ENGL 2130 , ENGL 2230 , or ENGL 2330 is waived for ENG and SEEN majors. The study of poetry written in English and translated from other languages, with attention to such topics as poetic movements, styles, trends, the evolution, and development of forms.
