Lec. 3. Credit 3. Prerequisite: FOED 2011 and FOED 1822 or FOED 1820 . Course is designed to provide opportunities for preservice K-6 teachers to explore problems that arise naturally in the world and to develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills. This course will focus on the development of technological literacy among future educators. This course will encourage teachers to capitalize on students’ natural curiosity about the world and how it works. Education and Engineering faculty will work in collaboration to develop and facilitate real-world problem solving experiences designed to develop a more technologically literate citizenry.
