Lec. 3. Lab. 1. Credit 4 Prerequisite: CHE 3021 . Chemical reaction kinetics and chemical reactor design. There is an emphasis on homogeneous reactions and ideal and non-ideal reactors. Introduction to laboratory experiments to illustrate typical situations found in chemical reacting systems: kinetics parameter determination, residence time visualization, introduction to different types of reactors, (i.e., batch, tubular and gradientless).
