This course is composed of two interrelated parts -- the internship and participation in seminars. This internship will be supervised office training in executive, governmental, medical, or legal offices at least seven hours per week for a total of 111 hours. The purpose of the internship provides students the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience. Seminars will be held periodically throughout the extend of internship to discuss quality management, continuous improvement, professional image, positive attitude, dependability, cooperation, communication, conflict resolution, ethics, and other workplace issues as they arise.
